I had a great time Oct. 14 performing with The Gay Mafia in Long Beach to benefit the G/L Center there.

The Gay Mafia's next show will be Oct. 28 at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood.

8/22/09 - 

June 24's "Gaylarious!" was such a hit that the MACHA Theater has asked The Gay Mafia to return in the Fall. First show is Wednesday, Sept. 30!

Mike will also be reading and signing his book, "Out on the Edge: America's Rebel Comics" Sunday Oct. 4 at 4:30 p.m. at TheWest Hollywood Book Fair.

Mike is now preparing a new video project for a September debut, as well as booking more Fall shows for The Gay Mafia (click his myspace tab above for calendar).

5/20/09 - 

Mike had a very busy March/April producing Outlaugh 2009 and traveling on a book tour for his new book.

Mike is now producing and performing in "GAYLARIOUS!" at the MACHA Theatre in West Hollywood, CA. The Gay Mafia appears with Suzanne Westenhoefer and Sandra Valls. 323.848.6471 for reservations. Admission Free.

Mike is producing "GAYLARIOUS!" with the City of West Hollywood Cultural Affairs Committee as part of Weho's 2009 Pride Month festivities.

3/15/09 - 

Mike will appear with THE GAY MAFIA in Outlaugh 2009, March 4 at 8 p.m. at the Hollywood Improv in LA.

OUTLAUGH 2009 is the first first multi-city comedy festival in America! Performances will occur in Los Angeles, New York, and Lake Tahoe simultaneously March 4-6, 2009.

Mike will appear on KNEWS radio's "Bill Feingold Unleashed" at 8 p.m. March 20, 09.

Mike will be in New York at the Barnes and Noble on 82nd and Broadway March 30 for a reading/signing of his book, "OUT ON THE EDGE: AMERICA'S REBEL COMICS."  Joining him will be Bob Smith, Jaffe Cohen, Michele Balan, Mary Kennedy, and Jason Dudey.

Mike will appear at Books Inc. in San Francisco Monday April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Joining him in SF will be Charlie Ballard, Jen Slusser, and Karen Ripley.

1/27/09 - Mike is looking forward to the Book Party (second event) for his new book, "OUT ON THE EDGE: AMERICA'S REBEL COMICS."  Party will be held at East /West Lounge Wed. 1/28/09 in West Hollywood at 7:30.

1/2/09 - Mike is looking forward to the Official Book Launch Event for his new book, "OUT ON THE EDGE: AMERICA'S REBEL COMICS."  

Event will feature signings and readings by Mike and many conributors to the book JANUARY 14, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. atDifferent Light Bookstore in West Hollywood, CA! Come on out that night and say hello!

11/26/08 - Mike will be guesting on The Frank DeCaro Show on Syrius Satellite Radio Dec. 2 2008 at 10:15 a.m. pst. to discuss his new book, "OUT ON THE EDGE: AMERICA'S REBEL COMICS."  Book is now in bookstores and available on Amazon.

10/16/08 - Mike has finished, "OUT ON THE EDGE: AMERICA'S REBEL COMICS,"which will be published and distributed to major bookstores by Alyson Books December 1, 2008.

Mike had a blast with THE GAY MAFIAheadlining at The National Conference for Gay Mormons in San Pedro, CA October 11, 2008.

THE GAY MAFIA had a great time performing at the Lambda Literary Awards May 29, 2008.

Feb. 23 Mike and The Gay Mafia had a blast in Ft. Lauderdale, FL as headliners in the ArtExplosion Festival.

7/4/08 - Mike is finishing his first book for Alyson Books, "OUT ON THE EDGE: AMERICA'S REBEL COMICS," which will be published and distributed to major bookstores November 1, 2008.

Mike's comedy group, The Gay Mafia, was such a hit on March 12 at MJs Bar in Silver Lake, they've been asked to become regulars there with their comedy night:  "Cocksure Comedy."  Mike and the Mafia perform improv comedy, and share the stage with 2 different stand-up comics each show.  Next performance is March 26, 2008.

2/1/08 - Mike has just signed a nonfiction book deal with Alyson books for a book about the comedy world.  Book will hit bookstores this Fall.

11/9/07-  Mike is preparing the new Gay Mafia sketch show "The Gay Mafia: Nu-Queer Winter" for a Dec. 5 debut at the Lounge Theater in Hollywood.  He will be appearing in quite a few sketches much to everyone's chagrin. He's also written some of the material and is directing the strange concoction.

As a producer, he is considering several exciting possibilities for Outlaugh in 2008.  News soon!
